Black Rose Bookshop presents Divination Workshop with Tommie StarChild

Divination is an art as old as mankind. It was referenced in the Bible know as "casting lots." Mankind has consulted oracles to seek divine and/or unknown information to run empires, conduct wars, when and whom to marry, plant crops, all manner of information seeking for the purpose of conducting daily living. Today, divination is used less to run empires, and more for personal direction and/or insight. During this workshop we will discuss many forms of divination (cards, stones/bones, pendulum, meduimship, gazing, etc…). There will be a brief overview of the art and craft of divination and then we will get down to playing with the tools of this ancient craft. Attendees are encouraged to bring with them the divination tools they personally use, as well as, tools you would like to learn to use. The tools of divination vary greatly, yet the art is in the diviner. We will learn how to listen to our internal knowing to reveal the messages of truth.
